We have taken great care to acclimatise Squid to the English way of life. From adapting to the climate and grazing to refining manners and transitioning to the British riding style, he has adjusted comfortably and confidently. This means you can enjoy your new partnership with complete peace of mind, knowing that the essentials — from behaviour to everyday management — have already been thoughtfully addressed.

Calamaro has undergone a rigorous veterinary assessment by leading specialists, ensuring soundness and wellbeing (these results are available to view). Squid is a young horse and is at the beginning of his journey — and we have taken great care to set him on the right path.. He has been backed at the appropriate age and developed slowly and responsibly.

Calamaro really is one of those rare finds — a golden soul with golden looks. 🌟 He won’t be with us for long… if you think he might be the one, send us a message today! 💌

Personal Relationships:

Wayne: Considering how stunningly beautiful Calamaro is you wouldn't blame him for having a bit of spoilt brat attitude, however that couldn't be further from the truth. He is the sweetest horse you will ever meet, he loves people and other horses. He follows me around and is so gentle with everything he does, he is a real gentleman. He likes to rest his head in my arms and fall asleep. He is as beautiful inside as he is outside and will be a great partner for that special someone. He wont be around for long and I'll be very sad to see him go.

Nicole - The kids call him prince charming and that says it all. He is very gentle in nature, nothing fazes him. He is good with kids leading him and around dogs. Hacks out alone, he is very safe and would suit many types of riders. He is so uncomplicated and if you are looking for a horse that you can focus all your attention on with no vices he is honestly your man!
